Itinerary
DAY 1:
ARRIVAL IN ZANZIBAR
TO STONE TOWN
Welcome to the beautiful island of Zanzibar. On your arrival you will be met by one of our representatives who will supervise your transfer to Stone Town to the Tembo Hotel. Take in the sights and aromas of the old city, a UNESCO heritage site and cultural heart of the island. Here you have time to relax at the Tembo Hotel in the epicentre of Stone Town or as the sun starts to set, join the locals at the beachfront cafes and restaurants.

DAY 2:
STONE TOWN TOUR & BOAT TRIP TO CHANGUU ISLAND
The day kicks off after breakfast with a comprehensive guided tour of Stone Town. Experience the rich history and unique architecture as well as the bustling markets, alleys, , ornately carved and studded doors and the former slave market. Lunch will be for your own account and we recommend you experience the food from a street vendor or food market. After lunch, we will head into the surrounding countryside where we will visit a spice plantation. Here you will be welcomed by the rich aroma of spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon and clove.
After lunch take a local boat to Changuu island located half an hour boat ride from Stone Town. The island has the attraction of several giant Aldabra tortoises and beautiful peacocks which are living and breeding on the Island. We’ll return to Stone Town and the Tembo Hotel at the end of the day.

DAY 3:
STONE TOWN TO
JOZANI FOREST
Visit the southern part of Zanzibar Island starting at Jozani Forest- one of the last remaining sanctuaries in the world of the Red Colubus monkeys. A local guide will accompany you on a walk through the Jozani Chwaka National Park to see this rare monkey. Wonderful photo opportunities and sightings of these rare creatures living in the forest reserves are possible. To get a real feel of the forest, you can also follow the boardwalk through the mangrove ecosystem. We then visit the Jambiani Village where we will learn about the unique culture and the diverse environment of Zanzibar’s villages and meet the resident Swahili people. Once gain we will return to Stone Town and the Tembo Hotel for the evening.

DAY 4:
STONE TOWN TO PWANI MCHANGANI BEACH
After breakfast, we leave Stone Town and head into the surrounding countryside to the Kizimbani Village where we will visit a spice plantation. Here you will be welcomed by the rich aroma of spices such as cimmamon, nutmeg and cloves.
We will then head to Pwani Mchangani Beach in the North Eastern corner of the island where we will be staying for the remainder of the trip at the Ocean Paradise Beach Resort. This romantic hotel is set on the edge of a beautiful beach in a landscaped garden filled with tropical plants and palm trees.

DAYS 5-6:
PWANI MCHANGANI BEACH
The Ocean Paradise Beach Resort is the perfect place to unwind under a thatched umbrella o the beach or by the pool surrounded by palm trees with a good book and an icy beverage. The island of Zanzibar is also a haven for water lovers as you can also enjoy a sun and salt-filled day of swimming, snorkelling or scuba diving.

Celebrate your last day on this beautiful island by taking an early morning walk on the white sand beach and take some photos in the morning light. After a delicious breakfast, enjoy a dip in the pool or take a last swim in the sea and then with loads of sun-drenched memories, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight back to the mainland.

DAY 7:
